Nestling in the sleepy village of Three Oaks, deep in the heart of rural Sussex, this well appointed cottage sits at the end of a row just a short stroll from the local inn, renowned for its excellent home cooked food and choice of ales. Whilst the village itself is rife with country lanes and footpaths, perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside and accessing the historic 1066 walking routes, it is also within easy reach of a host of attractions. The seaside town of Hastings (5 miles), once a haunt of smugglers, now boasts a modern pier, sea life centre and Europe's largest beach launched fishing fleet, and the ancient Cinque Port of Rye, with its cobbled streets, individual shops and traditional inns, is also well worth a visit as is romantically moated Bodiam Castle (N.T.). Camber Sands with its 7 miles of Blue Flag award winning beach is 12 miles. Pub 20 yards, shops 2 miles.
