Wicksteed Park, one of the UK’s first ever leisure attractions, dating back to 1921, offers traditional family fun to over half a million visitors every year. Admission to the tranquil147 acres of lakes and parkland is completely FREE! Although a small car parking charge does apply (coaches park for FREE). We have value for money wristbands on hand (Child £13.50, Adult £10) to allow you unlimited access to most of the rides on the day of your visit. Where better in the country for a family day out, accessible from everywhere due to its central location. Group rates (over 20 people) start from just £8

It’s all part of the original Charles Wicksteed message from 1921, “to change the lives for the better of thousands of children”. With over 35 rides and attractions including Roller Coasters, Rockin Tug, Carousel, Dodgems, Water Chute, and the UK’s only double pirate ship! There is fun for everyone of all ages. There are also plenty of catering outlets available, or you can picnic in the park.
Special outdoor events are organised throughout the year.
