Despite the Leicestershire postcode Willow Cottage is in Northamptonshire. The 400 year old cottage is built of the local honey coloured stone and is in the quiet and peaceful conservation village of Middleton just 2 miles to the west of Corby. In the past Willow Cottage has been a barnyard, shop, bakery and cafe with the bed & breakfast established in 2005.

The accommodation is on the ground floor and guests have keys to come and go at will to their rooms while parking their cars in safety in the enclosed rear drive. The two guest bedrooms with their beamed ceilings are modernised to a very high standard and share a well appointed shower room/toilet. Breakfast is served in the beamed dining room with its grandfather clock and open fireplace. A deposit of £20 per room per night secures your booking.

There are 4 local pubs/restaurants for meals and Rockingham Speedway, Rockingham Castle, Corby, Kettering, Uppingham, Market Harborough, Stamford & Rutland Water are 5-20 minutes away. Northamptonshire, as The Rose of the Shires, boasts a wealth of stately homes including Althorp House birthplace of the late Princess Diana while Burghley House in Stamford is just 25 minutes up the road.
