Pub and Bars in Poole
The oldest Pub on Poole Quay, the Poole Arms with its distinctive
green tiling dates from the 1600s. Eat overlooking the Quay and in summer
tables are set outside. Bob and Maureen have a clearly defined view of how
fish should be eaten and present beautifully simple dishes with new
potatoes, peas and garnish, either pan fried or grilled and without a chip
in sight.
Serving beers from Ringwood Brewery the Poole Arms has been included in the
CAMRA good beer guide for the first time, one of only 4500 out of over
60,000 pubs
