Michael's is an independently owned neighbourhood restaurant in
Birkdale Village. Shortlisted for Restaurant of the Year 2007/2008 in
Lancashire Life Magazine, Michael's the first solo venture of
chef-proprietor Michael Wichmann, Michael's provides excellent food in a
relaxed, non-pretentious atmosphere. Opened in June 2005, it has enjoyed
great success and acclaim for diners and press alike and was listed in "The
Times" newspaper nationwide guide to "Top Ten Warm Welcomes". The Good Food Guide 2009
Michael has been a regular guest chef on BBC Radio Merseyside. Open Tuesday-Saturday from 6 p.m. for dinner. Closed Sunday & Monday. Set menu dinner - Starter and main course £12.50, Tue/Wed/Thur all evening. Friday 6-7.
