The Sandrock is a small welcoming real ale house, regularly offering eight real ales from independent brewers in all regions of Britain. We specialise in quality food as well, offering simple fayre from things like 100% steak burgers and spicy pitta breads to a la carte specials such as marinated seared scallops with peppered spinach, Thai crab fishcakes, Beef Wellington, herb crusted rack of lamb with redcurrant jus, vegetarian haggis with neeps and tatties and many many more things from a daily changing menu. A small beer garden provides extra tables in summer and a venue for the annual Autumn Beer Festival. We are open from 12 to 11pm and 10.30pm Sunday. Food is served 12 to 2.30pm and 6.30 to 9.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 12 to 2.30pm on Sundays, a free dessert is offered with Sunday roasts. Booking a table for food is strongly recommended.
