There’s a world of underwater adventure just waiting to be discovered at the Blue Planet Aquarium.
With over 100 living displays in six themed areas reveal the spectacular variety of life in the deep; from tropical sharks and lobsters to seahorses and stingrays.
At the aquarium’s heart is the incredible 3.8 million litre Caribbean Reef display, complete with 230ft underwater tunnel, which houses Europe’s largest collection of sharks.
Be sure you check out one of our daily Aquatheatre shows and get up close to our divers as they feed the fish in our huge underwater viewing window – all in front of the sharks.
Get close to nature with our hands on interactive rock pools. Learn about exotic fish, live corals and meet our cute clown fish in our Reef Magic exhibit. Other exciting exhibits include seahorses, starfish, piranhas, caiman crocodiles and otters in their spacious outdoor holt. The outdoor Pirate Adventure Playground is another favorite.
Come face to face with the planets deadliest creatures in our awesome new attraction – Venom. From stinging jellyfish and deadly stonefish to sinister scorpions, black widow spiders and deadly vipers – there’s a world of pain to explore!
Dare you enter ‘Tarantula Tower’ where you will be able to step inside a Perspex tower surrounded by up to 50 giant spiders.

New for 2011 – Coral Cave
This Easter explore our amazing indoor cave system which leads to our crystal clear lagoon home to hundreds of brightly coloured reef fish.
