Set in 5 acres of wonderful gardens and surrounded by farm meadows bordering the River Wnion, Dolserau Hall Country House Hotel is a magnificent Victorian mansion built in 1863. The hotel has 3 separate lounges, all completely non-smoking, with comfortable armchairs, open fires and lots of books & magazines to read. Guests can dine in style in the ‘Winter Garden’ restaurant which enjoys beautiful views from every window. The 4-course table d’hote menu, which changes every evening, features an imaginative range of local, national and international dishes, all made with the very best ingredients, including Welsh black beef, Welsh lamb and pork.

The bedroom accommodation maintains the same high standard evident throughout the hotel. There are 20 en suite bedrooms, most with either twin or kingsize beds. Each room is equipped with Egyptian cotton linen, luxury towels, fine toiletries, central heating, colour TV, clock radio, direct dial telephone, hair dryer and hospitality tray & a welcoming nip of sherry. Five of the rooms are available in the converted Coach House and are pet friendly. Three of these rooms are on the ground floor and together with rooms on the second floor of the main house, where there is lift access, there are good facilities for visitors with mobility problems. Children over the age of 10 are welcome.

Evening Menu

The dinner menu changes daily and includes delicious Welsh lamb and Black beef from our local butchers and farmers, locally grown fruit & vegetables and game in season along with fish from a private trawler fleet out of Anglesey. Main course options always include a vegetarian dish and special dietary requirements are easily accommodated.

Desserts, all made in our own kitchen, include traditional British puddings as well as a number of more decadent creations!

Our wines are chosen selectively from the more notable regions of the world including St Emilion in France, Franschoek in South Africa, Rioja in Spain and Hawkes Bay in New Zealand.
