The Old Passage, for centuries the site of the ford across the River Severn, is now a seafood restaurant with hotel accommodation. Set at the end of a peninsula on a great ox bow bend, overlooking the river and, on its far bank, the hills of the ancient Forest of Dean offer a dramatic backdrop. With three double ensuite rooms, all with views across the river and furnished in a contemporary style and equipped with fridge, kettle, television, DVD and wi-fi. Discounted rates are available for single occupancy. Please note there is a different tariff for weekend bookings, see Available Rooms for the promotion codes. Closed on Mondays and although the Inn is open for Sunday lunch, it does not offer accommodation facilities on Sunday evenings.
