A Unique Experience
The LMM - Londonıs only motorcycle museum - is the capitalıs friendly focus for Britainıs biking history and heritage.

Not only do we have some 80 machines and other exhibits on permanent display we have another 50/60 machines in reserve, and a knowledgeable staff with a wealth of personal insights and stories! Our growing collection (see OInventoryı for current details) includes a 1902 Ormonde (a past participant in the Pioneer Run) and a 1903 Clyde (with unique SIMS magneto); a clutch of unique prototypes and Omedia starsı which cannot be seen anywhere else; a barrel load of other British machines, including racers and road bikes from ABC to Zenith; the last Triumph T140 out of the Meriden gates in 1983 and a 1991 Norton rotary in Paramedic livery.

But the LMM isnıt just a great static display. Our bikes have appeared in shows and exhibitions in Rio de Janeiroıs National History Museum, Moto Salon in Paris, a Milan fashion show, and Libertyıs store in London as well as starring in Eastenders, Dads Army and George and Mildred!

We regularly take machines to community events, county shows and carnivals, as well as hosting our own special events on site. LMM motorcycles were proud participants at the late Queen Motherıs 100th Birthday Parade; appeared as part of the 50-strong classic bike contingent that entertained the Queen at her Jubilee celebrations in 2002, and our 1907 Brown Precision entered (and finished) the 2003 Pioneer Run.

The museum and its staff frequently appear in other places too Classic Bike Guide, Classic Bike, Moto Legende (Franceıs main classic mag), Moto Ciclissmo (Italyıs no.1 bike mag), French TV and Video, BBCTV, A-Z of Royalty (USA-produced feature for Satellite TV), as well as in local/national press and specialist bike videos.
