More Information

Welcome to the Black Boy Inn which is situated on the famous Cartway, once used by donkeys to ferry cargo from the docks on the river to High Town. The street was full of public houses and brothels so we are now the only one left, pub that is. We are very traditional, serving an array of real ales by open fires in the winter or on the terrace overlooking the river in the summer.
Our rooms are newly refurbished, simply and homely.
Fresh milk for tea/coffee is in the fridge in the kitchen, please help yourselves (we hate those little cartons!)
Breakfast is served downstairs in the bar between 7.30 and 9am however if you have a problem with this please let me know and we can rearrange. Also if you have any special dietary requests please feel free to ask .
