More Information

Located in the countryside of the Vale of Glamorgan, but convenient to motorway and airport (just 7 minutes away) this 16th century village inn with restaurant and rooms offers the visitor peace, quiet, good food and comfort all under the same roof. In addition we offer real ales and fine wines, coal fires in winter and a patio for the summer.

The village is steeped in history with the 11th century church just next door once being the seat of religious learning and now the home of frescoes depicting St George and the Dragon. Also, situated in the village is national hunt trainer, Evan Williams. Cardiff city centre with its Millennium Centre and Stadium, theatres, restaurants and dock area can be easily reached by car in less than half an hour, the beaches of Ogmore, Porthcawl and Barry are a short drive away and then there is the market town of Cowbridge with its designer shops fifteen minutes from here.
