The Best Beech Inn is situated on the East Sussex and Kent boarders in the village of Wadhurst which lies on the ridge of the Weald between the North and South Downs. Situated off the beaten track and surrounded by wonderful beech woods, The Best Beech Inn has a varied and distinguished history which can be traced back to the seventeenth century. In it’s time the building has been used as a butcher’s shop, a petrol station and in recent years a pub with rooms.

The inn has a warm and friendly atmosphere where we welcome our guests to enjoy our bedrooms and newly refurbished restaurant with the emphasis on local and seasonal menus. Our rooms are tastefully decorated with modern amenities including flat screen television, built in dvd player and freeview. We also offer tea and coffee making facilities in all our rooms. We offer free wireless internet, free car parking and 6 bedrooms with their own individual character.
