Charvil is a pleasant village set in the county of Berkshire, and home to 2.5 thousand people, there have been settlers here since the Neolithic and Bronze Age period. Just a mile away is a tantalizing delight, The 18th Century Flour Mill at Sonning, is now a delightful Dinner Theatre, perhaps enjoy a tipple in the Bar where the working waterwheel may be seen. Or for an intriguing glance into history which is brought to life in an instant with a visit to the Museum of Berkshire Aviation. Or perhaps the adrenaline of rushing down a ski slope either on skis or on a snowboard tempts you, then a visit to Bracknell Dry Ski & Snowboard Centre is definitely called for, where the enjoyment of ski-ing, snowboarding is rarely beaten, unless you include the gentle art of ice-skating, or hold tight and climb aboard a sno-tube and slide at a fast past down the slope……. The evocative beauty of Stanlake Wine Estate which dates back to 1166 is home to 30,000 vines, and won’t fail to impress, wine making takes place in the 17th Century Barn, making delicious sounding wines such as Pinot Blush, Regatta and Kings Fume, set within Windsor Great Park makes for a fascinating experience.
