As soon as you're through the door you're aware that the pub is more than it seems, good humoured banter and lots of laughter come from around the roaring log fire. The locals Bar is well stocked offering a wide range of Hook Norton draught, cask conditioned ales, wines, spirits, soft drinks and includes regular changing guest and seasonal ales. John & Trisha the Landlord & Landlady are justifiably proud to have been awarded a "Beautiful Beer" Gold Award. The lounge Bar: A striking Inglenook fire place commands centre stage in this delightful room. The Music Room: Is the meeting place for the local theatre group, bell ringer's and Morris Dancer's. Infact, any excuse for a get together! Soft lighting, classic furniture and striking decor gives the Music Room its unique ambiance, a perfect meeting place for family and friends. Wilfred's Lounge: Newly refurbished, Wilfred's offers you a smoke free environment with comfy sofas to chill out on, or table seating to sit at and chat over a tasty meal. Check out the wall paintings signed by Wilfred himself. Great for Business customers to bring their clients/customers in for a light lunch whilst still being able to work with our free WiFi access, or for that cosy evening meal for two with dimmed lights, and soft background music this is the place to really relax in. Accommodation: We have two delightfully furnished letting rooms, with Wireless Internet Access, TV, radio alarm, tea & coffee making facilities.
