Broadoaks Country House is set in the little village of Troutbeck about one mile from Windermere and two miles from Ambleside. This secluded paradise is surrounded by the stunning Lakeland fells and framed by the river Troutbeck which runs alongside the hotel from within a deep valley. You can hear the soothing rush of the water whilst you take in the beautifully landscaped and manicured grounds which surround this fantastic house.

With 16 beautifully appointed rooms and a luxury suite, Broadoaks has the perfect room for every occasion. Enjoy spa baths, hand-screened wallpapers with natural inks, Egyptian cotton sheets, cow shed toiletries, flat screen TVs, incredible views and all surrounded by truly breathtaking scenery. Broadoaks kitchen is Michelin recommended and has recently been featured in a Taste of Cumbria cookery book celebrating some of the areas finest restaurants and dishes.

We also have a membership to a local health spa which includes a pool, gym, sauna, steam room and much more. Guests are welcome to use this facility free of charge throughout their stay.
