A small friendly hotel, with an informal atmosphere offering a very warm welcome. The hotel is extremely well located on the main A4 Bath Road very close to Junction 12 of the M4 motorway with easy access to both Reading and Newbury. For those in search of classic English architecture and history, Highclere Castle Statfield Saye and Mapledurham House are all easily reached.The attractive old market town of Newbury is nearby and Newbury racecourse is between the town and the hotel. Or for a great day's shopping, head for the Oracle Shopping Centre in nearby Reading - considered amongst the best in Europe. All rooms offer en-suite facilities, tea/coffee hospitality tray and colour TV. A bar and restaurant are available along with meeting and banqueting facilities for up to 120 persons. There is ample Free on site parking. Buffet Style Breakfast is served in the Legends Brasserie. An extensive Dinner Menu is also available Sunday to Thursday Evenings offering a wide selection of Hot Dishes, Salads and Snacks with something to suit everybody. Also the lobby bar offers an all day selection of light meals.
