In a small Somerset village lying in the heart of the Polden Hills, these two attractive, 18th century cottages enjoy a shared garden and a further 8 acres of grounds with a fishing pond. Just a short stroll from the cottages is the village pub serving food, local ciders and beer. Street, home to the famous Clarke's shopping village is just 2½ miles away. A wealth of places of interest lie within easy reach – Wells, England's smallest city yet boasting a very fine 13th century cathedral, is 10 miles, whilst Glastonbury, with its famous Tor and Abbey is within 4 miles. Other local attractions include Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole, the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton, and Haynes Motor Museum. Historic houses and gardens are found at Hestercombe, Stourhead, Montacute and Lytes Carey. Coarse fishing for koi carp, mirrorcarp and tench (barbless hooks only) can be enjoyed in the shared grounds, whilst a sports centre, outdoor swimming pool and horse riding are available nearby. Shops 2½ miles.
