Enjoying lovely country views from its verandah and a tranquil setting just a 200 yard stroll from a village pub serving food, this newly refurbished lodge makes an excellent base for exploring the myriad delights of North Yorkshire. One of five similar properties set on a truly peaceful and friendly little site, it lies 3 miles from Kirkbymoorside and Helmsley, with its castle and seasonal open air swimming pool. Rievaulx Abbey, Castle Howard, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp and the North York Steam Railway at Pickering are all within 10 miles whilst York and Scarborough are both 25 miles. A farm shop/café selling local produce is ½ mile, and a popular fish and chip shop and restaurant ¼ mile.
