Situated on the River Teme in the outstanding countryside of the Welsh Marches; its medieval street pattern survives almost intact; along with many ancient properties including a magnificent ruined castle and one of the largest parish churches in England.Elm Lodge is situated in open countryside on the outskirts of Ludlow. Ludlow is in south Shropshire; roughly half way between Shrewsbury (45 mins) & Hereford (35 mins). Ludlow is easily accessible from the Motorway network; either the M5 near Kidderminster (1 hour); the M54 Telford (40 mins) or M50 (1 hour). An efficient train service runs from Manchester to Cardiff calling at Ludlow; trains run approximately every hour. From the station taxis are easily available to Elm Lodge; it is a 20 minute walk.
