Elm Crest was built in 1864 and was originally a Mill Owners house; shared by two brothers.Situated in the leafy suburb of Edgerton; it is surrounded by other grand and magnificant Victorian residences. The historic significance of the house and its construction resulted in it becoming a Grade 2 listed building. Fruit from the gardens are used to make home made jams and delicious apple pies; so nice that children have been known to fight over themselves to get an extra helping.A tastefully decorated house offering En-suite or private accommodation; TV; DVD; hairdryer; tea and coffee making facilities with chocolate biscuits in all rooms. Elm Crest is a non smoking establishment with an elegant breakfast room; and opulent hallway and stairs. There is a locked and floodlit car park and a welcoming Summer house in the garden.
