Beech barns is a recently renovated historic barn conversion dating back to the early 18th century, and retaining many original features. Mixing contemporary and classic styles with modern facilities we have been awarded a 4 Star commendation by The AA for the last 2 years.Nestled in a wooded valley to the west of Alton, Hampshire, Beech Barns offers the ideal luxury retreat for those visiting Alton, Basingstoke, Winchester, Farnham or the surrounding areas. Rooms are spacious, bright, very fresh and expceptionally clean. Showers are hot and powerful. Beds are made up with quality egyptian cottons, and features such as Digital TV, and Wireless broadband access come at no extra charge.Breakfasts are served from 7am-9am weekdays and there is no limit on what you eat and drink. We only use the best quality products, with emphasis on organic, freerange and sustainability.There are a number of good eateries in the area, but please feel free to bring something in with you if you prefer to settle in for the evening. Whilst you will find your room to be a comfortable haven, there is the option of utilizing one of our guest lounges which offer more space, and either tv, dvd, or music should you desire. We are situated in a peaceful village location and as such Beech barns is a safe, secure and tranquil setting for you and your vehicle. The only thing likely to disturb you is the occasional owl hunting mice in the still of night.Both the M3 and A3 roads are with 20 minutes drive, and the A31 passes a couple of miles away. Alton also has a mainline station direct to London Waterloo. Heathrow is 50 minutes and Gatwick one hour.
