Family run 3 star 17th Century Georgian Hotel and Restaurant located in the village of Trecastle in the Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales. The Hotel is privately owned and managed by Val and John Porter who take pleasure in ensuring their guests get the most out of their stay. The Castle is situated in the North of the Brecon Beacons National Park and makes an ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing, golf or just enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery, lakes, waterfalls and wildlife the Brecon Beacons has to offer. Out restaurant is open every evening serving traditional home-cooked fayre and our cosy bar has an open log fire burning throughout winter. We are recommended by the ‘AA pub guide’ (featured pub) and ‘AA Britain Best Country Pubs for Food’.
