More Information

A classic Georgian townhouse, Y Meirionnydd is a fine listed building - one of Dolgellau’s most prominent landmarks. Stunning period features are blended beautifully with contemporary twists. There are large Georgian windows, low beams, uneven floors – and a warm welcome.

Y Meirionnydd is right in the centre of Dolgellau near all its main attractions and just 8 miles from Coed y Brenin. A feature of Y Meirionnydd is our very own restaurant situated in the Old County Jail in the cellar. Here we serve straightforward dishes that are beautifully cooked with a minimum of fuss using fresh Welsh ingredients where possible.

Our rooms are bright and comfortable with white cotton bedding, warm wool blankets and fresh colour schemes. .
