Situated on the Devon Dorset & Somerset borders, you can explore the unrivaled natural beauty & history of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, or be inspired by our spectacular untouched countryside or enjoy a visit to one of our beautiful cities, which are steeped in history but enjoy a very vibrant present.

Were also ideally based for Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall's River Cottage HQ. The River Cottage Canteen here in Axminster & not forgetting celebrity chef Mark Hix's recently opened Mark Hix's Oyster and Fish House just over the border in nearby Lyme Regis, Dorset.

We have three cottages, located at different stunning locations within the Axe Valley in East Devon All offer a spacious, comfortable and well equipped self catering accommodation.

The Willows Self Catering Holiday Cottage is set amidst the ancient waterways of the river Axe, within the grounds of the historic Weycroft Mill, adjacent to Weycroft Bridge; a semi rural location some half a mile from the market town of Axminster. This recently converted stone built character Cottage overlooks stunning Devon countryside with many public foot paths within easy reach.

Our Colhayne Cottages, once hay barns, now converted into two stunning holiday cottages, are situated down a quiet, no through, country lane boasting stunning panoramic views across the rolling hills of the Devon countryside over the Axe Valley & surrounding farmland; its surrounded with wildlife. Public foot paths are just yards away from the cottages, leading down to the river Umborne: a great place for picnics, bird watching, or just a leisurely stroll.
