The Ralph family extends a warm welcome to Merton Villa, our friendly, family-run Guest House that dates back to1884, when it was commissioned as a Manse by the Minister of the Wesleyan Methodist church. It has been sympathetically refurbished this year, retaining many original features.

Tywyn lies on the West coast of Wales, in the county of Gwynedd, and within the Snowdonia national park.

In Tywyn Town Centre there is a lovely indoor, heated Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre with gymnasium, a Cinema and of course the obligatory local pub! All of which are within easy walking distance.

Tywyn offers a safe, sandy beach with a coveted blue flag to its credit! It also has a flat promenade, ideal for families.

There is also an 18 hole putting green, skate park, toddler playground all within walking distance. We are an easy 5 min walk to both the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge railway and the national rail station.

There is also an ice cream factory shop !!
