Detchant is a family run farm nestling between the magnificent Northumberland coastline and the beautiful Cheviot Hills. Centrally located for most market towns in north Northumberland, we are 15 miles from Berwick-upon-Tweed and 16 miles from Alnwick. Detchant is within easy reach of all 7 Northumbrian Castles, Lindisfarne and only a stone's throw from the majestic coastline where beautiful white sandy beaches await you. Please note - we are only taking bookings from the 1st April.

We offer three comfortable, recently refurbished rooms; one twin room and two double rooms. One double room has private facilites and has fantastic views over to Lindisfarne; the other room is ensuite with views over rolling farmland. The twin room is ensuite again with wonderful views to the coast and Lindisfarne. Each room has TV, hair dryers and tea & coffee making facilities.

A wide choice of breakfast is available using locally produced ingredients. We offer dryiing facilites and packed lunches to walkers and cyclists who visit this beautiful part of the coastline. We are on both The Coast & Castles cycleway and the St Cuthberts Way.
