ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is one of Europe's largest wildlife conservation parks. Set in 600 acres of beautiful parkland on the Chiltern Hills, north of London, the Zoo is home to more than 2,500 animals, many of which are endangered in the wild. The Zoo, like ZSL London Zoo, is run by the Zoological Society of London, a charity devoted to the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats.

Escape with your family on a big natural adventure and watch tigers, elephants, hippos and giraffes in huge outdoor enclosures. Get closer to Lions of the Serengeti, check out the cheeky chimpanzees and see the very rare baby greater one horned rhino and baby Asian elephant. You can also go in with the Lemurs and see these stunning primates as they go about their business on their island. You can drive your car round the scenic park, or hop on and off the free Safari Bus. Alternatively, experience the Jumbo Express train for an exciting adventure. Wallabies and Maras are free ranging across the park, and you are sure to catch sight of them during your visit. Before you go be sure not to miss a trip to the amazing Discovery Centre where you can find out about Desert Regions and the Rain Forest, and meet the Madagascan spiny tailed Iguanas.

With daily live talks, demonstrations and feeds, and beautiful picnic areas, there's something for everyone at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.
