The hotel's location makes it an ideal base for touring the whole of the West Country from North Devon to Lands End. Also ideal for touring including such local jewels as Clovelly or Tintagel, and an hours drive to the Eden Project. The Maer Lodge is a two star hotel peacfully situated in its own sheltered grounds overlooking the Bude Golf Course and just a few hundred yards from Crooklets Beach. It has private parking and the town centre is only a short walking distance away. The hotel is open all the year, and has seventeen en-suite bedrooms each with TV, radio, hair-dryer, telephone and hot drink facilities. There is a cocktail bar adjacent to the main lounge, and a spacious dining room. It is a family-run hotel offering personal service and excellent food in comfortable surroundings at moderate prices. The M5 at Exeter is 55 miles away.
