More Information

The Gower Golf Club is a Donald Steel designed course offering a challenge to experienced golfers.Visiting golfers most welcome and societies by arrangement. Accommodation is provided on site for those wishing to stay over and we have an A La Carte restaurant. Gower, a peninsula of South Wales, is an area of superb natural beauty - so beautiful, in fact, that it was the first area in the UK to be designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. Part of the recognition of the special nature of Gower has been the protection awarded to the area, protection which takes great care to preserve the character of the area and the stone shod homes that make up much of its housing. A mixture of estuaries and marsh, woods and dunes, long beaches and bogs clinging to the underside of hills mean that Gower is a superb area for bird watchers, whether you wish to see the herons, buzzards and kingfishers that live here all year round or the huge selection of migratory birds that visit the area every year.
