The Forester Inn is a traditional 16th Century Inn nestled in the Dorset/Wiltshire border just a stones throw away from the Saxon hilltop town of Shaftesbury.

The Forester Inn has the character of the quintessential English Pub with its original beamed ceilings and inviting inglenook fireplace surrounded by warm stone walls.

Taken over in 2004 by its current owners, Martin and Christine Hobbs, the Forester Inn has been sympathetically extended to include an additional Restaurant (AA Rosette Award) and Meeting Room facilities as well as two en-suite Bed & Breakfast rooms (AA 4 diamond award). The Forester Inn has also achieved a place in the AA ‘Top 200 Bed & Breakfast’ guide.

The aim of the Forester Inn is to offer great food and fine wine, served in a relaxed atmosphere where the service is attentive yet unpretentious.
