The Axe & Compass in Heath Reach is a charming pub in the heart of
South Bedfordshire. Only 2 minutes from the A5 we serve good cask ales,
freshly home cooked food, quality drinkable wines and have a fantastic beer
garden with an extensive children‚s play area. A truly beautiful landscape
provides the back drop to many a country walk.
We feel the pub is a place for people to meet, eat, drink and chat in a
relaxed informal atmosphere. Families very welcome. Having a party? We can
help you celebrate with free room hire and party planning.
We also have a separate lodge with 8 bedrooms which are available for bed
and breakfast 7 days a week. Long and short terms lettings available.

We are conveniently located for the many tourist attractions and walking
routes that surround the local area. Local attractions include Whipsnade
Wild Animal Park, Woburn Abbey & Safari Park, Dunstable Downs & Toddington
Manor.
