The Museum is housed in what was one of the most stately Officers' Messes in England.

The Museum helps you to discover the story of the Royal Marines from 1664 to the present day and is brought to life through interactive and dramatic displays and the latest computer audio-visual technology.

Also on display are exhibits on the Royal Marines Band Service and is home to the most comprehensive medal collection in the World, with over 7,000 medals and all 10 Victoria Crosses won by the Royal Marines.

Every year the Royal Marines play a key part in resolving conflicts and keeping peace around the World and this is your chance to see it all under one roof.

It's the closest you'll get to experiencing life as a Royal Marine without joining up!
