Hamptonne - the museum of rural life - is tucked away in a network of narrow winding lanes in the heart of St Lawrence. The site is brought alive by animated characters from the past, demonstrations of by-gone skills, guided tours and a menagerie of farm animals. Allow plenty of time to explore the buildings and stroll around the kitchen garden, orchard and meadows. Exhibitions currently on display include The Jersey Cow - The Rural Face of Jersey, Sponsored by Jersey Dairy, and The Camera Never Lies - The Making of Under the Greenwood Tree.
