Eastside is a working family sheep farm of 3000 acres, run by Alastair and Susan Cowan, in the heart of the spectacular scenery of the Pentland Hills Regional Park. The 18th century farm steading has been imaginatively converted into three character filled cottages which sit side by side on the hillside and combine old world charm all modern conveniences.

On your doorstep you can:
*Observe farming life in action.
*Take to the hills on one of the numerous scenic walks on the farm and beyond.
*Watch the wildlife- badgers, hares abound! Eastside is also a birdwatcher's paradise- buzzards, kestrels and peregrines are regularly spotted. Don't neglect the flora- there is Site of Special Scientific Interest on the farm designated because of regionally rare wild flowers.
*Catch a fish for your supper! Walk over the hill and try your luck for a trout at Loganlea Reservoir

All cottages have ample parking in the farm yard at the entrance to each cottage and gardens bounded by dry stone dykes at the back of each property.
