The Raptor Foundation is a Bird of Prey Sanctuary and Hospital and is a unique and exciting place to meet and learn more about owls and hawks and see them fly. We provide medical care for injured raptors and life care if they are unable to be released back into the wild; we also provide sanctuary for unwanted 'pets'.

We offer educational opportunities to schools with talks about the birds, habitat, conservation issues and pellet dissection (either by us going to them or them coming to us), and talks to groups both young and not so young.

Flying displays where the birds can show off their flying skills are done at the Centre all year round and it has been known for there to be some audience participation. Or how about arranging a full day of flying at the Centre with lunch provided for you and your 'official photographer'? Help to raise funds through our membership and adoption scheme - membership: single £18.00 Family 2x3 £24 per year Adoption £55, see web site for further details.

Guided tours are available at the Centre on request. Why not spoil yourself in Silent Wings Tearoom with home made chocolate cakes, scones and more. Visit Mad About Owls Gift shop, where you can find a range off owl goodies to finish off your visit..
