Wander around the 100 acres and enjoy the seasonal changes from Spring daffodils, through stunning rhododendrons to blazing Autumn colour. Fine Palladian house, designed in 1721 for Henry Hoare, with outstanding library, works of art and furniture by the younger Chippendale. King Alfred's Tower, an intriguing red-brick folly built in 1772 is almost 50 m high and gives breathtaking views over the estate and three counties.
