Set in 22 acres of the rolling countryside typical of the Stour Valley made famous by John Constable, Gladwins Farm offers a selection of high quality accommodation. Guests staying in any of our 5* or 4* self-catering cottages and farmhouse B&B can use the heated indoor pool with its sauna and outside hot tub, the hard tennis court and childrens’ play area. Cottages sleep from 2 to 8 people and our two luxury ‘sleeps 8’ and ‘sleeps 6’ cottages are graded ‘5 Stars’ by the English Tourism Council. Enjoy the luxury of private hot tubs in Melford, Chelsworth and Wiston cottages. There’s a fishing lake stocked with coarse fish plus farm animals to entertain the children.

Melford, Chelsworth and Wiston cottages have their own Beachcomber hot tubs!

Nayland is one of the famous cloth towns of Suffolk, having possibly the finest collection of medieval timber-framed buildings in the Country. The other ‘Heritage Villages’ of the area – Lavenham, Long Melford and Sudbury are all within a few minutes drive and the coast is only half an hour away. You are spoilt for choice of excellent restaurants in the area, ranging from homely country pubs to silver service cuisine and speciality seafood bistros.

We have two excellent golf courses nearby and our guests can enjoy discounted visitor's fees on Stoke by Nayland's championship course.

If a quiet holiday in a charming area of Olde England is on your agenda, call your hosts Susie & Stuart Bradshaw on 01206 262261 and arrange a memorable stay.
