The Malt Shovel at Barston is a delightful country pub and restaurant with a difference. With a welcoming bar with an easy atmosphere for eating and drinking. Log fires, long Sunday lunches and newspapers in the winter.

A beautiful garden in summer for al fresco eating at lunchtimes. Fine Cask conditioned ales, imported beer and fine wines. For more formal dining there is a separate AA Rosette award winning restaurant in a stylishly converted barn. All produce is sourced fresh & local, using high quality butchers and developes fresh fish specials daily.

All food is freshly prepared to order, cooked with care and presented with flair. The A La Carte menu changes seasonally. It simply offers the best food and beer around with the friendliest service! Good location near to Birmingham airport, M42 & The NEC.

Food served: Monday - Saturday 12.00-2.30 & 6.30-9.30 Sundays 12.00-4.00 Bar open all day everyday.
