The Old Passage, for centuries the site of the ford across the River Severn, is now a seafood restaurant with hotel accommodation. Set at the end of a peninsula on a great ox bow bend, overlooking the river and, on its far bank, the hills of the ancient Forest of Dean offer a dramatic backdrop. With three double ensuite rooms, all with views across the river and furnished in a contemporary style and equipped with fridge, kettle, television, DVD and wi-fi. Closed on Mondays and although the Inn is open for Sunday lunch, it does not offer accommodation facilities on Sunday evenings.
