The world's first preserved railway, the TR still operates all the original engines passenger carriages first built in 1865 as well as historic locos and coaches from other narrow gauge railways.

Tywyn Wharf Station is home to the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum. Our licensed cafe and tea room serve hot and cold drinks and snacks with hot meals and a bar at Tywyn Station.
