Renowned for two fantastic courses, the Medal Course and the Ashludie Course, it was no surprise that Monifieth was asked to be one of the Final Qualifying courses for the Carnoustie Open in 1999.
Medal Course - The Medal Course is a natural heath/links course with a fair share of hazards including new deep riveted bunkers. The well grassed narrow running fairways, lush semi-rough, penal heavy rough and fast consistent greens will test any standard of golfer. 18 holes. Par 71. 6,655 yds. Heathland / Links.
Ashludie Course - The Ashludie Course offers a more compact, but still challenging test of golf where an accurate short game is essential. 18 holes. Par 66. 5,123 yds. Heathland / Links.
