Dairy Cottages 1 & 2 Sleeps 4-8
Delightful self catering accommodation in the tranquil setting of rural West Wales. Situated just outside the picturesque village of Capel Dewi near Llandysul in Ceredigion, this traditional stone-and-slate barn has been recently converted into two attractive holiday cottages. The cottages retain many original features and are surrounded by 35 acres of rolling farmland, woods, stream and fishing bank. It's a perfect haven for the outdoor enthusiast with superb scenery, nature trails and wildlife and a great location for cycling, walking, fishing and nearby visitor attractions to suit all tastes. On the farm is a landmark glacial feature called Cerrig Hyllod (‘The Ugly Stones’) and visitors are welcome to follow the woodland path along the riverbank and up a fairly steep hill to the stony outcrop. Local history relates how these giant stones served in earlier times as a pulpit for a popular Welsh preacher who lived in the valley. And while we cannot guarantee clear skies, our valley is sheltered from light pollution and offers some great star gazing in the evening from the deck and gardens of your holiday accommodation.

Each cottage has two bedrooms, with one double and two single beds. There is one bathroom plus an en suite shower room and a modern kitchen fully equipped with fridge-freezer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The lounges are comfortably furnished and include Freesat TV, AV system and WI-FI network. To accommodate larger parties, the downstairs halls can be opened as adjoining lounges. Each cottage has its own stable door access to patio and deck; as well as shared garden with chair swing and patio furniture, picnic table and barbecue.
