With its river, tributaries and lakes, the Test Valley boasts arguably the best chalk trout fishing in the country. Just a short distance from the Inn there are places of historical interest such as Stonehenge, The Avebury Ring, Danebury the Iron Age Hill Fort with its commanding views of the valley and the Cathedral cities of Winchester, Salisbury and the towns of Romsey and Stockbridge.
