Set at the foot of the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds, the subject for much of David Hockney's work, Rose Cottage is an ideal touring base for the East Coast, York and the North Yorkshire Moors, Rose Cottage sleeps up to 3 adults and one child. It is tastefully decorated in neutral tones and has 2 bedrooms - one with a double bed and and another with a single bed plus an additional pull out bed. The kitchen diner and living area is open plan, and there is a downstairs shower room. Outside is a patio with garden furniture and use of a small paddock. One well behaved dog is welcome but is not permitted in the bedrooms. The property is non smoking. It offers beautiful views over farmland and is situated in a peaceful village location 1/2 mile from the A64, bus routes and local facilities such as the Post Office and general store, butcher, 2 pubs and a fish & chip shop.
