Eastdon House, Dawlish Warren is a late eighteenth century Georgian house which stands on one of the most impressive positions on the Exe estuary. From the striking house tidy lawns slope down to open parkland and magnificent views across the water and out to sea. The first time you take in the exceptional panorama from the steps of the houses is a memory that people rarely forget. Eastdon House Apartments is just 5 minutes' from Dawlish Warren's Blue Flag beach on the South Devon Coast. There are 80 acres of open parkland and private woodland to explore in an idyllic and secluded vale. In our continual evolution of this beautiful area we consider two priorities-your enjoyment of your holiday, and the conservation of the natural environment. With rolling meadows, mature woodlands, orchards and fishing lakes in our grounds you'll struggle to find more beautiful surroundings on a holiday.You are welcome to enjoy the grounds and woodland during your stay together with private paths to Dawlish Warren and the Nature Reserve, which are within easy walking distance. Guests staying at Eastdon House are welcome to use the facilities on the associated local holiday park. Facilities include, outdoor heated swimming pools available from End of May until Mid September, Shop and Swan Pub available Easter until end of October, Fish & Chip shop take-away available Easter until end of September. There is a professional Coarse and Carp Fishery available on the park all year round. There is an extra charge to use this facility, daily and weekly ticket available to purchase on arrival. There are five well-stocked fishing lakes which contain carp, tench, roach, rudd, bream, perch and even koi. Surrounded by lush vegetation and mature trees, the area is a haven for wildlife. Carp caught at the lakes have been recorded upto 25lb.
