The Gamekeepers Lodge is a farmhouse B&B, situated conveniently close to the main A1 trunk road through Northumberland, making it an ideal base from which to explore the delights of England's most northerly county, famous for its history, coastal beaches and castles, wild, untamed moorland, wildlife and birds. Attractions such as Alnwick Castle, the Alnwick Garden, the walled town of Berwick and Hadrian's Wall are all within easy access. For an evening out, the vibrant twin cities of Newcastle and Gateshead provide all the nightlife and culture expected of a regional centre. Breakfast is included and served in our spacious dining room with Southern views of the Northumberland countryside. Fresh fruit, including strawberries and raspberries when in season, cereals and fruit juice to start and then a choice of full Northumbrian breakfast sourced fresh from our local Farm Shop, Continental Breakfast or our famous Breakfast Surprise meal, to make it extra special.
