We have 5 en-suite rooms available for Bed & Breakfast accommodation. All have been converted from the original farm buildings with fastidious attention to detail while retaining as much of the original character of the buildings as possible. All the units are decorated to an extremely high standard and boast feather down duvets and pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets. The premises are old stone buildings which formed part of the original farm steading. One was a smiddy, one a cow byre and the cart shed has been split into two units. The fifth was formerly a garage and is slightly smaller than the others but boasts a beautiful view of the sea. One of the cart sheds has been specifically built to suit people with accessibility needs but they are all on the ground floor and there is an access ramp to the Dining Room in the farmhouse where breakfasts are served. Fenham Farm is located within the North Northumberland coastal area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, facing the tidal island of Lindisfarne. For the birdwatcher and lover of nature, this area provides a unique opportunity to see and get close to some of the country’s rarest animals. In the autumn months, the sand flats that are exposed at low tide become a huge feeding ground for geese and waders from around the world. Northumberland is a land of contrasts, from the sandy beaches and rugged cliffs of the coast to the high wilderness of the Cheviot Hills, you could certainly say it is a region with truly something for everyone. For a more cosmopolitan day out with more shops, galleries and culture, take a trip to either Edinburgh or the bustling city of Newcastle upon Tyne – all around an hour away and sure to satisfy the most ardent of shopaholic!
