Good Points: good price, central to town
Bad Points: dirty and noisy
General review: good price if you are on a limited budget, but not very clean and rooms a little downtrodden with a lot of noise from traffic

We chose this hotel because it was next door to the Grand Theatre, where we were attending a show that night.
We asked for a non-smoking room but were given a very small Smoking room which really did smell of stale smoke, as did the whole corridor. The furniture in the room was very dusty especially the television, where dust was piling up in the corners.
We were going to have a bar meal in the Stage door Bar, but as soon as we walked through the double doors we turned and walked out. The smell of stale smaoke and alcohol was extreme. Also the furniture looked as if it should be in a transport cafe.
However, before attending the theatre, we had a meal in the hotel's Julie's restuarant, which was delicious, a good choice on the carvery buffet, and the staff there, were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was also delicious and once again the staff were friendly and helpful.
But I will not stay here again.
