Had used these for several years as firstly the hosptial used them for my disabled sons appointments - they did loose the contract. Some drivers dont have good english, some never waited till you had strapped the baby in the car in his seat, and as my son grew they didnt help lift in the pushchair while i struggled to get my disabled son into the car - even cracked my ribs in 2009 - but never complained. waited over 2 hrs at the hospital for return journey - never complained. In fact i put up with a lot, missed a lot of appointments, had near accidents never complained. Then this year I wanted like I did every year to plan a day out they had sent back the quotes for journeys out, and few weeks later I asked for another place i had found - well this time i happened to mention my son was disabled - so the prices that I already had quotes for went up by over £20, plus I was then expected to pay over £180 to the driver for his costs of lost earnings for sitting in the car park - err - ddint want the driver to sit in the car park - used them for long distance journeys to say mansfield or white post farm, but according to then stoke on trent is hundreds miles away from nottingham and basically cos my son has down's syndrome they didnt want to take us - after all he's disabled and i am am rolling in money right. so i dont reccommend using this company as the service has been terrible for years but if you dare complain over anything they report you to the police. doesnt matter they victimise disabled children and adults no.... nor put up quotes as you mention the word disabled - but £180 - lol I used to be a taxi drivers wife so know this isnt common practice in any taxi firm and yes I have asked around - making the company a laughing stock
